Já tem um tempinho que eu planejava publicar esse post mas só agora tive tempo de reunir as fotos e os vídeos que que queria…
Coisa de um mês atrás eu descobri sobre essa garota de 17 anos competindo no programa X Factor do Reino Unido. No primeiro vídeo que eu vi dela, em sua audição para o concurso, eu de cara adorei o seu estilo e durante as semanas seguintes, continuei acompanhando a competição para ver as suas apresentações e um mix bacanérrimo de looks legais com um toque de rock, hip hop, grunge, militar, pin up, com direito à cílios postiços, muito delineador e longas extensões de cabelo…mas apesar disso tudo…a garota sabe mesmo cantar!!!
Então…aqui está um pouco do seu estilo e também o vídeo da sua audição no X Factor.

There’s quite a few time I wanted to do this post but only now I had the time to get all the pictures and the videos I wanted…
About a month ago I found out about this 17 years old girl competing for the X Factor show in the UK. On the first vídeo I saw from her, on her audition for the contest, I was immediately captured by her style and through the following weeks I kept following the show to see her performances and a mix of cool looks with a touch of rock, hip hop, grunge, militar, pin up, including big false eyelashes, lost of eye liner and long hair extensions…but in despite all that…the girl can really sing!!!
So…here’s a little bit of her style and also the vídeo from her audition on X Factor.

Esse garoto me surpreende, me orgulha e me encanta com seu talento…quando eu menos espero lá vem ele com uma criação nova maravilhosa, que evolui à cada estação e se supera sempre!
Ainda estudante – agora já do Mestrado da Universidade do Minho em Portugal – aposta alto e acaba de lançar sua coleção Outono/Inverno com a marca TOUSSAINT GURGEL.
Para essa estação, Pedro se inspirou em mulheres guerreiras e lutadoras, donas de si, que mostram ao mesmo tempo força e feminilidade. As peças trabalhadas em Chiffon e tweed trazem recortes estratégicos e bem posicionados. Diz ele: “…Cortes onde o seu amado a gosta de pegar. Nos ombros, cintura, braços, colo.” E é assim, bem vestida e cheia de estilo, que essa mulher guerreira se prepara para enfrentar seu mundo de pedras!

Still a student – now on the Masters of the University of Minho in Portugal – He’s not afraid to dare and has just launched his Autumn / Winter collection with the TOUSSAINT GURGEL brand.
For this season, Peter was inspired by a women that’s a fighter and a warrior showing strength and femininity at the same time. The pieces in chiffon and tweed bring strategic and well positioned clippings. He says: “…clippings where her beloved likes to touch. On the shoulders, waist, arms, neck.” And it’s well dressed and stylished, that this warrior woman prepares herself to face her world of rocks!

Calça skinny ou modelagem slim com a barra virada, cabelo curto ou mais longo todo bagunçado com jeito de quem acordou e foi pra rua daquele jeito, a jaqueta jeans bem 80’s e sapatos tipo dockside com meias ou sem…Bacana e divertido para passar o dia na rua!

Skinny or slim fit cuffed pants, plaid shirt, a short or a longer hair messed up in a way that it looks like they woke up and went out with the hair like that, the blue jeans jacket from the 80’s and socks or no socks on the dockside shoes… Fresh and cool for a day out on the street!

Além da mesinha que imita uma toalha de mesa, duas outras coisas que eu achei muito bacana foram as canecas de PANTONE e as de ANEL. Me deu vontade de poder tirar o anel da caneca pra também poder usar só ele!

Esse é o meu querido amigo Rune da Dinamarca quando ele foi me visitar em Portugal agora em Julho e me pediu pra tirar essa foto já que ele gosta de grafite e arte de rua. Nós tivemos sorte porque tiramos essa foto dois dias antes dele voltar para Copenhagem e no dia seguinte da sua partida, pintaram a parede de branco e o graffiti já era.
– “Atitude”, ele disse pra mim, “É isso que eu preciso para mudar algumas coisas na minha vida…”

This is my dear friend Rune from Denmark when he came to visit me in Portugal this July and he asked me to take this picture since he likes gaffiti and street art. We were lucky cause I took this picture two days before he go back to Copenhagen and the next day he left, they painted the wall in white and that graffiti was gone.
– “Attitude”, he said to me, “that’s what I need to make some changes in my life…”

Uma das coisas que eu mais gosto nestas fotos é como look do manequim se adequa tão bem, como se os traços da vitrine e do fundo tivessem sido feitos na roupa também.
